About Us

It took us a while to get this section ready, but we believe it was worth it... Talking about oneself isn't that easy! Summarized in brief paragraphs, welcome to the garden and thank you for being part of this adventure.

From the desire to create to "Paula's Creative Garden"

I've always been one of those people who need to keep their hands busy. What started as my favorite way to spend free time gradually ended up demanding my full-time attention. In the end, PCG was born from a very simple realization: I'm passionate about crafts, and it's the best way for me to stay in touch with my creative side. People started asking for commissions of the pieces I made for myself. Would it really be so crazy to turn this passion into my job? Somehow, I felt a click there and started pondering it until it practically became a physical need screaming "try it."

Two people, one table, and a lot of love (the kind that survives shipping)

This is where Arnau comes in. PCG is two of us, and I promise you that starting a business with your partner is the ultimate test. If you can get through the moment when the inventory decides to rebel or when a mountain of shipping boxes threatens to bury you in the living room, you can handle anything.

At first, everything was a challenge: learning logistics (which sounds very serious but is actually wrestling with labels), managing stock, and praying that every package arrived perfectly. There have been chaotic moments, but always with music in the background, a few giggles when something went wrong, and the satisfaction of knowing that we were building it together.

We want you to fall in love

Our "why" is very simple yet very intense: we want you to pause when you open your order. We know our customers and we know that, like us, they see beauty in the small details. How beautiful the pieces are, the smell of the leather, the texture of the paper, and that, when assembling and disassembling your notebook, you feel that this piece was created with you in mind.

We are a small brand, and that means that every time an order comes in, Arnau and I do a little celebratory dance (no joke, it's quite funny). We want our pieces to be those "small works of art" that inspire you to write, draw, or simply enjoy things made with care. We want you to use it and think: Wow, I'm in love with this. Because we already are, and we want to share that feeling with the world.

The corner where things happen

If you were to look out our window right now, you'd see our garden (the real one). Inside the studio, light floods an old wooden workbench (restored, impeccable, and with a beautiful story) where finished pieces rest, those ready to go home with you. And right behind it, the contrast: a large glass table full of scraps, tools, photo props, and beautiful things everywhere.

It's our favorite corner, a small but vibrant space where each piece is born from a mix of technique, natural light, and a lot of love. Although it's already getting a bit small for us, and we'll probably have to move... But for now, we'll continue to enjoy it :)

Finally, we want to thank you for watering the garden with us and for appreciating what is made with hands and heart. This wouldn't be possible without you; we hope you enjoy your pieces as much as we enjoy making them.

See you in the garden.
